Joseph Powell

I’m a Marine Corps veteran and the founder of All American Adventure. I served 4 years in the Marines, earning the rank of Sergeant before transitioning back to civilian life. My love for the outdoors began long before my military service, but climbing has been a central part of my life for the past 10 years.

What started as a personal passion quickly became something much bigger. After experiencing the mental and physical benefits of climbing myself, I founded AAA with the mission of sharing that same transformative experience with others, especially my fellow veterans and first responders. When I’m not guiding climbs, you’ll likely find me chasing trout on the river with a fly rod in hand, or running up and down class 3 or 4 terrain trying not to get myself hurt.

I’m proud to lead a team of passionate, safety focused guides who share my commitment to excellence, service, and getting people outside. Whether you’re stepping on rock for the first time or pushing your limits on a multi-pitch route, I’m dedicated to making sure your experience is safe, fun, and unforgettable.
